Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach that helps individuals improve socially significant behaviors through structured teaching, consistent reinforcement, and data-driven decision-making. ABA is widely regarded as the gold standard for autism intervention, backed by decades of research.
We focus on functional, real-life goals—like communication, self-help, and social interaction—breaking them down into teachable steps that build confidence and independence over time.
We believe that learning should be joyful. At Sprout and Bloom, we rely on positive reinforcement to encourage progress. When a child uses a new word, follows a direction, or learns a new skill, they receive a reward—whether that’s praise, a favorite toy, or a fun activity.
This approach strengthens motivation, fosters trust, and makes each session a positive experience. Instead of focusing on what children do wrong, we focus on what they do right—and build from there.
While our methods are rooted in evidence-based behavioral science, we are unique in our ability to blend, and source from faith, what is needed to add value to these methods.
We begin with a comprehensive intake that includes interviews, developmental history, and standardized assessments. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) conducts direct observations and evaluates key skill areas such as communication, behavior, play, and self-help.
Goal: Understand the child’s strengths, needs, and family priorities.
Based on the assessment results, we develop a personalized treatment plan with clearly defined goals. These goals are functional, measurable, and aligned with what matters most to your family—whether it’s learning to speak, playing with peers, or managing transitions.
Goal: Set meaningful, achievable targets tailored to each child.
Parents are essential partners in our work. We offer regular training, coaching sessions, and open communication to ensure you feel empowered, supported, and involved.
Goal: Equip families with strategies they can use at home and in daily life.
Every session includes data collection so we can track the child’s progress in real time. BCBAs review this data regularly to adjust teaching strategies and make sure therapy stays effective and responsive.
Goal: Use evidence to drive decisions and celebrate progress.
As children grow in independence, our role begins to shift. We gradually reduce support, working toward transition into less intensive services, school settings, or daily routines without therapy.
Goal: Prepare each child—and family—for long-term success beyond therapy.
Our Vision is to be a light in the community where families feel supported, children grow joyfully, and every step of progress is celebrated.
